A workshop titled “Developing Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Course Plans and Assessment Instruments” was held on 15 August 2026 in the Digital Conference Room of Dr. Momtaz Begum University of Science and Technology.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Azizul Hoque, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor (Acting), attended the workshop as the Resource Person. He delivered a comprehensive presentation on developing OBE-based course plans, conducting outcome-oriented lectures, and designing assessment instruments and examination questions aligned with the OBE curriculum framework. To facilitate effective implementation, he distributed hard copies of relevant guidelines and standardized templates among the participating faculty members. The workshop also included an interactive problem-solving session, enabling participants to apply the concepts and develop practical OBE course plans and assessment tools.

The inaugural session was chaired by Professor Dr. A. F. M. Nazmus Sadat, Director, IQAC. Deans of different faculties, Chairpersons of various departments, and faculty members attended the inaugural session, followed by the hands-on workshop for the designated participants.

The program concluded with a lively question-and-answer session, reaffirming the university’s commitment to strengthening academic quality and ensuring the effective implementation of Outcome-Based Education across all academic programs.
