Dr. Momtaz Begum University of Science and Technology, located in Banshgari, Bhairab, Kishoreganj, organized a solemn Doa and Milad Mahfil on 28 June 2026 to commemorate the fourth death anniversary of the late Dr. Momtaz Begum, the beloved wife of the University’s Honorable Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. H. B. M. Iqbal, a distinguished educationist, former Member of Parliament, and valiant Freedom Fighter.

On this occasion, the Hon’ble Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Muhammad Azizul Hoque, paid deep tribute to the memory of Dr. Momtaz Begum and offered prayers for the eternal peace and forgiveness of her departed soul.

The Doa and Milad Mahfil was conducted by the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Professor Dr. A.F.M. Nazmus Sadat. Among those present were the Acting Registrar, Mr. Md. Zakir Hossain; the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Akim M. Rahman; chairmen of various departments, faculty members, officers, staff, and students of the university. The program was moderated by the Chairman of the Department of Business Administration, Mr. Md. Abdur Rashid.
