On the March 25, 2025, as part of the celebration of the National Genocide Day, a general knowledge competition was organized at Dr. Momtaz Begum University of Science and Technology’s own campus (Banshgari, Bhairab, Kishoreganj) with the spontaneous participation of students. The program was inaugurated by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor (Acting) of the university, Professor Dr. Muhammad Azizul Hoque. At the end of the competition, the Honorable Vice-Chancellor delivered a brief speech highlighting the significance of the ‘National Genocide Day’ in the presence of the Deans of various faculties of the university, chairmen of various departments, teachers, officers, employees, and students.

Thereafter, a Dua Mahfil was held to pray for the peace of the souls of the martyrs. Finally, the convener of the event organizing committee and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mr. Md. Ashek Al Aziz, thanked everyone involved and declared the event over.
