Today, January 11, 2026 (Sunday), at 10:30 a.m., an Admission Fair for the Spring Semester-2026 (January-June) session was inaugurated at Dr. Momtaz Begum University of Science and Technology, located in Bashgari, Bhairab, offering attractive admission discounts. The Admission Fair was formally inaugurated by the Honorable Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Azizul Hoque.

On the occasion of the Admission Fair, students are being offered a 50% waiver on admission fees, along with tuition fee waivers ranging from 10% to 100% based on SSC and HSC or equivalent examination results, as well as various additional discounts under different categories. Specially, students from different colleges in Bhairab are eligible for an additional discount up to 25%, while female students are being offered an extra 15% discount on admission during the Admission Fair.

It is worth mentioning that these attractive discounts are applicable only during the Admission Fair period, which will continue from January 11, 2026 to January 21, 2026 (date may be extended).

Following the inauguration of the Admission Fair, an interactive meeting was arranged with prospective students and their guardians. During the session, students expressed keen interest in admission, and after visiting the well-equipped laboratories and the impressive campus, both students and guardians expressed their satisfaction.

In addition to the inauguration and the discussion session, those present included the Acting Registrar of Dr. Momtaz Begum University of Science and Technology, Mr. Md. Zakir Hossain; Dean of the Faculty of Science, Professor Dr. AFM Nazmus Sadat; Dean of the Faculty of Business, Dr. Akim M. Rahman; Proctor, Md. Abdur Rashid; as well as all Faculty Members, Officers, Staff, and Students of the University.
